Pre-Launch Meetup

Get together with Jake, Anthony, and other Anomalies the night before launch for drinks and food at a local establishment.

Artemis 1 Launch Sunrise Beach Party ***NEW TIME***

Watch the sunrise and then a rocket launch from the beach with us! Stay after for drinks, swimming, and good times.

Date: Aug 29th
Time: ***5:00AM*** (sunrise at 6:59am, 2-hour launch window opens at 8:33AM) ***NEW TIME***
Location: Cape Canaveral Beach, south of Jetty Park Pier

NOTE: Jetty park will open at 5:00AM and close when at capacity.

We'll be setting up shop on the beach near Jetty Park Pier, in the 1km stretch or so immediately south of it. We will know the exact area once we arrive, depending on the time and the crowds. Once we have a spot that morning, we will broadcast through this email list a more precise location and how to spot us. Look for the Off-Nominal Flag to find us!

What to bring: Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, beach chair, towel, swim suit, snacks and drinks, cooler, beach umbrella.

NOTE: Beer and wine are permitted in Cape Canaveral's beach area, but it is illegal to bring glass bottles. Please be responsible and take care of the beaches.

If you are driving, be aware that parking will likely be very limited and traffic very bad. Port Canaveral has issued a notice regarding the event, which we encourage everyone to read in full. We are expecting large crowds. Plan accordingly, arrive early, walk if you can. And remember, Anomalies don't drink and drive.
